I’m Gary Brown. I’m an independent researcher and activist. I do FOIA litigation, OSINT, and martial practices. AI has had significant utility for me, but I’m interested in small, general purpose AIs. Almost like little mini AGIs. I’m currently using Rasa Open Source and attempting to maximize the utility of GPT-2 Medium, although I’m interested in using even more distilled versions. My vision is for something small and portable, that could act like anything from a pet to an assistant. My initial project now is just something that appears to have its own personality and will converse. The first phase will look like something I can slap on to the dashboard of my vehicle. I was thinking about calling it “KITT” as a joke from Knight Rider. Anyways, progress is slow and the learning curve steep, but preexisting AI has been instrumental in assisting my navigation of this very steep learning curve. Would absolutely love to provide assistance to anyone as this will provide me with unique learning experiences. Glad to be here!
