Can Rasa bot work in a chatroom with multiple users ? We have a need where there can be multiple users connected to a single chatroom and we would like the bot to differentiate the questions/ requests from each user and handle them separately. Can rasa handle such communication ?

In Slack for example, this is definitely possible, your bot can join a channel with multiple users. You probably want to only respond if you are @mentioned
though. If you want the bot to listen to all messages and figure out itself when it should respond, that’s an open research problem.
