Hi All, I am trying to develop a simple bot and integrate it into a website built using Wordpress. Has anyone here tried doing this? Can this be achieved using the following REST channels? [image] GitHub - botfront/rasa-webchat: A feature-rich chat widget for Rasa and Botfront A feature-rich chat widget for Rasa and Botfront. Contribute to botfront/rasa-webchat development by creating an account on GitHub. [image] GitHub - scalableminds/chatroom: React-based Chatroom Component for Rasa Stack React-based Chatroom Component for Rasa Stack. But how do I integrate it to WordPress site?

Hi @Paras have you successfully deployed your Rasa chat bot on wordpress website?

@nik202 not yet i am having issues with CROS validation

Thanks @Paras for the reply. What all you have successfully integrated can you share and help out please, if you have time or when ever you are free write. Many thanks in advance!

created a project folder on server then i moved my content in that folder i used this JiteshGaikwad/Chatbot-Widget content moved static folder and index.html file then locally i run ngrok http 5005 then rasa run -m models --enable-api --cors "*" --debug initially i am using rasa run so i am getting CROS error but after changing the command bot runs fine then in static\js\script.js file change url: https://7600511477b7.ngrok.io/conversations/${user_id}/execute, url: https://7600511477b7.ngrok.io/webhooks/rest/webhook, save the file and open the project page in browser and you find your bot is up and running a) i am running bot on my site from my system through ngrok b) my site is in html not in word press, so if your site is in wordpress, it might be possible that script.js might be fail to operate, you can convert it in jquery file

Thanks @Paras , I will try this but my website is on wordpress, I have chat-widget and its running and responding locally just fine, but I want that it should be deployed on wordpress and in backend I will run local server of Rasa and action server. If you find any thing related to wordpress please do share. many thanks for this.

@mrafea , i have successfully connect my bot with my website using ngrok but when deployed my bot over GCP and my site is hosted somewhere else, there is some error. can please you tell me, about your dockerfile or docker-compose.yml file or nginx.conf have you expose any port in any of the above file to communicate with website? if yes then and how? have you bind any external ip with any port in any of the above file to communicate with website? if yes then and how? and what command you are using inside dockerfile to run rasa thanks

@Paras you are able to connect the bot with the website means your custom widget is responding and you can see on Rasa debug screen? all the conversation? Correct. Have you test on different computer? when on the new system are the new session is establishing? I guess you need to see the socket io concept or this link : GitHub - botfront/rasa-webchat: A feature-rich chat widget for Rasa and Botfront Me still struggling with connection of Rasa with wordpress website. I am able to connect the Rasa-webchat : GitHub - botfront/rasa-webchat: A feature-rich chat widget for Rasa and Botfront and also able to link my custom rasa train model with webchat. But it showing locally only not on other system :frowning:. If you found any update please do share. Thanks
