Found the issue and created a pull request (Fix bug in sparse featurizers by tabergma · Pull Request #5172 · RasaHQ/rasa · GitHub). The fix should be in the next patch release 1.7.1. Hope to get this one out this week or beginning of next week.

Is there a release date for this patch? Tried updating, it says 1.7.0 is still the newest version.
