How can I send private messages to a forum user?

I’ve been searching all around the user profile a way to PM a user or even go to my inbox to check if there is a way to write a message but I don’t find any. Am I blind or is there actually an issue with private messages? Thanks in advance

I think the user whom you want to PM might not have enabled messaging.

I don’t know if it’s the case. Ive searched multiple profiles and none seems to have the option to send PM
