Hi there, I’m new and I’d like to get clarification on something.

I understand that Rasa X is not available for commercial use in terms of SaaS, but Rasa Open Source is available for SaaS since it’s under the Apache license.

So I checked the pricing and only Rasa X can be deployed anywhere, so I’m guessing that Rasa Open Source can only be deployed and hosted using Rasa? So I’d like to know the pricing as to how much it costs to host a chatbot using Rasa, as I couldn’t find Rasa’s hosting prices on the site.

Thanks for asking that question. Rasa actually has no hosted option with either Rasa X or Rasa Open Source. Since Rasa Open Source is, as you correctly mentioned under the Apache 2.0 license you can just download it here: GitHub - RasaHQ/rasa: 💬 Open source machine learning framework to automate text- and voice-based conversations: NLU, dialogue management, connect to Slack, Facebook, and more - Create chatbots and voice assistants

Thanks for answering my question, I checked the docs and it seems that I can deploy Rasa Open Source on docker, I guess I was thrown by the pricing page where it says that Rasa X can be deployed anywhere:

So I thought it meant that the Rasa Open Source can’t be deployed anywhere but should be hosted by Rasa, but thanks for clarifying that.

So this means I can deploy Rasa Open Source on platforms like Heroku yes?
