@M_R_LY Finally you got my whole discussion behind the original issue.
mine is not solved
@Darkkap Please you also confirm, where are you trying to install?
@M_R_LY What is your issue? please share on the new thread. I guess we already discussed a lot on this thread. But, note; this is all a healthy discussion for the other readers.
Rasa telegram custom buttons already did it here
Unfortunately not. Rasa X ignores the localhost certificate. I’ll stick with your mentioned installation guide for a while. To bad that Rasa X on windows is a pain to configure and maintain due to several pip and package dependency problems.
?? I asked you to confirm me please where you trying to install rasa X?
Note: The above mention suggestion and solution are based on local mode installation of Rasa X on the local machine only with the Ver: 0.39.3. Thanks.
@M_R_LY its not related to this topic I already mention you on that thread!
On Windows 10 in local mode.
Rasa Version : 2.8.12
Minimum Compatible Version: 2.8.9
Rasa SDK Version : 2.8.2
Rasa X Version : 0.42.4
Python Version : 3.7.7
Operating System : Windows-10-10.0.18362-SP0
My intention were to upgrade the currently working environment, which you mentioned the last few months, due to Flask, python-engine and python-socket issues which I hoped they have been resolved in the latest version.
Me too bro, so anytime youre free or if you know someone who can help
@Darkkap Right! So what is the current issue, can you share some screenshot for me and at what steps you facing the error?
My current issue is the same as akhilsiby shared with us.
Is there any fix to solve the error
socket.gaierror: [Errno 11001] getaddrinfo failed
on Windows 10 in local mode which occurs with latest Rasa release?
Unfortunately the workaround to downgrade to an older Rasa X version nor a fresh install of Rasa X (including deleting existing .db files) is a solution for this particular problem.
@Darkkap Well, this issue is persistent issue and Rasa Team is also aware!
@Darkkap Honestly, I tried my level best to solve this issue, but I also have time constraint and deadline in my work. Even, I am using Rasa X 0.39.3 both on local machine and on server. I hope this will help you. Good Luck!
I also tried some tests in the socket.py without success. But thanks anyway @nik202. I just have to be patient.
@Darkkap so, what version you are using? I hope now you got the clue for the error [11001]
The only working one on Windows 10 you are providing in several threads of course
@Darkkap hahaha, honestly at backed I’m tried to convey this issue to rasa team a asap fix, because me also bored with the same solution every time copy and paste
I would really appreciate it but for now the ambition has grabbed me and I will test Multipass
@Darkkap Good Luck on this note mate!
