When will rasa-x support rasa open source version 3?

The compatibility matrix currently says the highest version supported is 2.8

I am running rasa x on GCE and would like to use rasa open source 3.0.8 there also

Rasa OSS 3 will be compatible with Rasa X 1.1, expected to be released at the end of this quarter.
