# Issue with Slack buttons

Hi everyone!

Currently I’m connecting a chatbot to slack. Sadly the buttons are not working as wanted. They only work if i type **/option\_1** for choosing option one at the first question. After that the buttons are working as expected.

Does someone have a clue where the problem could be?

Hi @leonie, would you be able to share an example button response that you’ve defined for your Slack channel where this issue is happening?
