# How to restrict slot filling

No, you don’t have access to that in actions. Maybe you can find a way to build a [Custom Pipeline Component](https://rasa.com/docs/rasa/components/#custom-components) for that?

I wouldn’t say it’s not right, more like it’s not the convention. But you can do that with no problem.
