# How to create new dimension in duckling

How can i create new dimension in duckling, rasa is using. and also i want to customize the existing duckling dimensions e.g time. If its a difficult thing can i use regexes duckling is using to extract the dimension in my lookup table to extract the entities. (any drawbacks?) Right now i am using duckling in the docker. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks

You’d have to either fork and develop the [rasa/duckling](https://github.com/RasaHQ/duckling) repo yourself, or take up any requests you have for new dimensions with [facebook](https://github.com/facebook/duckling), as they’re the ones that maintain the duckling repo.
