# Duckling HTTP Server Error

Hey, I’m having issues connecting my Duckling\_Entity\_Extractor for my chatbot. I have set up the Docker desktop to start the duckling server, confirmed the server is running but when I run ‘rasa shell’ I’m prompted with the error message: “Failed to connect to duckling http server.”

Anyone having any suggestions on what troubleshooting steps I can take? Thanks!
