# Custom actions for Retrieval responses

I can’t find anything related / updated. How can I map each **faq** (for example) to a custom action? So instead of having a **simple text** response specified in domain **i.e.** `utter_faq/ask_X` I would like to trigger a custom action to handle that specific ask\_X faq.

I’m almost sure it’s not possible. You will have to create a standalone intent for it.
